Brand Expression

BRIEF
Show how they care about what happens NEXT, that they’re innovative and have a different approach to opening properties by investing in the future.

PROCESS
Creative Kickoff
call with Design Director, Account Manager and client to show them visual cues to understand where they want to position themselves in terms of their visual identity. I worked on the natural evolution of the identity in the brand expression stage and the look and feel of the second route which was the concept the client chose with the final mark developed by the Design Director.

Sketches

After initial ideation phase, developed route 1 - the natural evolution of the existing brand and then worked on exploring the look and feel of route 2.

Conceptualised their digital platforms through GIFs and simple motion animation and implemented
the sense of innovation in other applications through the use of the photography treatment and subject matter and graphic device treatment.

Enjoyed curating the photography for both routes and then focusing on only the second route to work on the look and feel. Targetting investors but with the future goal to be enjoyed as something trendy and relatable by the masses, the photography treatment is synonymous to the other assets of their brand.

Looking at the existing luxury real estate market in the UAE, NEXT Developers wanted to embody their core values and vision not only in the way they work but also in their brand identity. To reflect in not only in the visual but also in the attitude. To show how they care about what happens NEXT. In the future. Utilising a cutting edge brand identity that reflects a focus on trust and innovation, the visual identity combined futuristic yet tasteful elements through digital elements and curated photography to push the boundaries of being in the next level of real estate.

Brand Guidelines
Hero Campaign

After the initial brand expression phase was confirmed, I developed the brand guidelines experimenting on different lockups for the brandmark, establishing the colour system and usage for the main brand and for the other three property types, expanding on photography and usage and concepts for the notional applications.

I also worked on the hero campaign concept and final collaterals, developing the digital banners, 100m x 12m and 20m x 10m hoardings, and social media posts.

DELIVERABLES

2021 - 2024    

Working on different projects with OMNIYAT entailed different tasks with varying scope of works. For AVA at Palm Jumeirah and ORLA at Palm Jumeirah, I worked on the design system for the website with Figma liasing with the web developers to include the structure, design assets and flow of the website. Under these projects, I have also worked on designing the billboard and campaign assets for the teaser and launch phase. For ENARA and BEYOND, I have worked on the brand expression phase and in the next phase established the style guides contributing to the art direction of imagery, colour, type and graphic devices. For ELA, I have worked on the style guide phase exploring colour and later working on providing concepts for their digital and print invitations.

STYLE GUIDE

After the brand expression phase, I developed the style guide exploring the art direction for different categories establishing the photography style of f&b, people, architectural, abstract and interior details. Also further developing the usage of the graphic device and experimenting on how to implement the brand assets across different platforms.

CRYSTAL ELEGANCE

Reflecting the idea of crystal elegance across illuminating animations, the graphic device exudes the motif of light. This will be used as the key visual across social media posts and stories, the website, digital ads and invitations.

Briefed to refine the brand guidelines. I explored the percentage and usage of colour across the guidelines. I also explored and worked on the concept phase for the print and digital invitations.

Worked on carrying out the pagination and design on figma to provide to the web developers, including the client’s renders and supplied assets. Selected imagery that evokes the tranquil and and elegance of AVA at Palm Jumeirah. For a design system, the use of the pink outlines amplifies the delicate nature of the waves and simultaneously the articulate design of the building’s architecture.
